Fashion game changer
I'm sorry, we just blacked out for a minute. The latest style from ALL CAPS is so mind bogglingly good that we temporarily lost oxygen to our brains. Luckily the healing power of fashion can work wonders and the AMARANTH is our savior. Gorgeous and completely handmade in Portugal, this towering wedge has a heel like you've never seen--rows of hand-drilled-out holes pepper the base and give this a high fashion, totally unique look. 6" heel and 3 1/4" platform. Suede upper, leather lining and man made sole. Due to the nature of the wood, each hole will have slight variances. Fits true to size. Size US8 insole measures at 9 5/8" inches or 24.5cm. Each half size is 1/4 inch or 1/2cm difference.

Pictures dont lie!
I had been stalking this shoe for months!..I wanted them sooooo bad,but the price was not what I wanted to spend..prchased something else and it didn't work out so exchanged for these!!!..was soo happy and excited to finally own a pair of ALL CAPS!..when I took them out of the box I was dissapointed that the leopard print was lighter than the picture had be believe..I needed the rust color leopard verses the tan prnt leopard..then I try them on and they didn't look all that good against my skintone with the shape it gave my toes and how tight the ankle strap was...it made my feet look really flat and long sitting on a flat but high platform..I wear 5-6;to 7 inch heels daily (which I will pay for later in life)and the height was just what I love..the holes should have been sanded and smoothed before staining to give a more refined look,but the overall design of this shoe is Amazing!..I love them but I am returning for another ALL CAP style..I want to enjoy the shoe and these didn't do it for me...Melissa
My Favorite Shoe
I knew I had to have these the minute I saw them.. I splurged and bought my first pair in the black/natural. My husband liked them so much he urged me to purchase the blue/natural *twist my arm*and in the last sale I snagged the coral/natural. Seriously.. these shoes are amazing. I am a total glamazon in them. The blue is more of a pastel aqua and the coral is more of a peachy nude... both are beautiful though. Another thing.. I wear a 9 in Jeffrey Campbell and in most american shoes but in this style of All Caps I need a 10. They are narrow and euro sized.. so def size up. All in all I highly recommend spending the money on these shoes as they are gorgeous. Solestruck rules!Sara Wakeling
Unique, high fashion look
At first I thought these looked bizarrely tall on, but I warmed to the look - they look especially great on with knee length skirts. I was a little surprised at the roughly hewn look of the holes - I thought they might be a little more finished, but it's not really a big deal. They are indeed comfortable, and a dead-on true fit for me - I'm an 8 in Lita's and most JK's, and these fit perfectly. The coral looks close to skin tone, so the shoes are leg lengthening. I note that the previous reviewer said that the ankle strap was tight - I would say it's just right, these shoes fit like a glove. Since they are so tall, you have to be especially careful to not let your ankles roll to avoid any injury, however they really are worth it, beautiful, unique and showstopping shoes.anonymous
OMFG...seriously
This shoe is seriously mind blowing! I've never seen anything like it, and it is actually comfortable and easy to walk in despite the height. With the holes, its nice and lightweight. The ankle strap is slightly tight but with a shoe this high you don't want any loose straps...you definitely feel secure in the shoe. Very well made and fits true to slightly big, if anything, but pretty true.
