Super cute but...

These are perfect sandals to SIT in. I love the look of these, they are so simple and minimalist but the metal detail definitely gives them a little something special. However! I could definitely see the metal piece down the middle of your foot not being comfortable for lots of walking. Maybe go with your regular size to give you more strap room instead of sizing down as suggested...
