A symbol of subculture for over 50 years, Dr. Martens have long been purveyors of grunge, rock n roll and youth in revolt. This classic 1460 boot, lovingly referred to as the 8 EYE BOOT, conjures up images of Pete Townshend lighting fires onstage with The Who and the working class clawing their way towards the American dream. Original Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole. Sewn together, not merely glued, with a Z welt-stitch and heat-sealing process. 1/2" heel. Leather upper and lining, man made sole. Fits about 1/2 size big. Size US10 (EU 43) insole measures at 10 6/8" inches or 27.5cm. Each half size is 1/4 inch or 1/2cm difference.

    Not sure what size to order? All sizes listed on our site are US sizes. We try on each style for you and record the approximate measurements for every size to help you decide which size to buy (because we love you and want you to be happy with shoes that fit)!

    PLEASE NOTE: Fit can vary from style to style and from brand to brand, so please check the measurement we show and read the fit notes in each shoe description. Also, check each shoe description for any US to EUR size conversions that brand might have (see image below).

    TO FIND YOUR BEST FIT:

    Stand on a tape measure or ruler.

    2.
    Measure the length of your foot (heel to toe) in centimeters (cm).

    3.
    Select a size to see the corresponding measurement, or read the shoe description to find the measurement.

    Choose the size that best matches your foot measurement and decide if you want to go a little bigger for a little extra room.
