The beyond rare IRIS SHOE is a visual spectacle of intricate, multi-layered leather work from the remarkably talented Dutch-born designer (and Alexander McQueen collaborator) Iris Van Herpen. Created with United Nude as part of Herpen's critically acclaimed "Synethesia" collection shown at London's Fashion Week, only a single run of 100 pairs has been produced. An exclusive piece of fashion history, the IRIS SHOE is beauty personified and the next statement shoe for a new decade. This glamorous ankle bootie is 100% handmade with the highest grade leather and features gold detailing around the front and back. 6.5" heel and 1.75" platform. Fits true to size. Size US8 insole measures 9 5/8" or 24.5 cm. Each half size is 1/4" or .5cm difference. Limit 3 per customer.

this shoe is very well designed...has the bestt details..the heel has height and it is very sturdy..it is a european made shoe which in my experience means get a size bigger because it fits snugg and true to size..i really love this shoe!

Def see the mcqueen inspiration. The plus is only 100 made but i dont think i would walk in the house with them let alone outside the house. I applaud you if you can master it. Good luck Ashley Im rooting for you!

these shoes are possibly the most amazing shoes i own. i LIVE in heels, never get blisters and can walk in virtually anything you hand me... but these, these are a different story. don't get me wrong- they are gorgeous. you can see the mcqueen influence in them. but, they are just so hard to walk in. like, hard to take even one step. you feel like you are falling forward in them.. of course i'm going to keep them, and practice walking in them.. but who knows if i'll ever be able to make it out of the house wearing them?
