I love these shoes and they are comfortable to walk in, BUT do NOT listen to them and order a size down. I'm 5'4" and 95 pounds, I have small feet and my usual size of 7.5 are almost too narrow. Also, after one day of walking in these I have three blisters and my ankle was bleeding from the glitter. If anything, order a half size up. Other than that, I got tons of compliments and they are adorable

Absolutely adore these shoes. They're super comfortable. Even more so than my Litas, in my opinion. Being red and glittery, the Dorothy comparisons are inevitable but I've had nothing but compliments when I wear them! I would recommend ordering the half size up if you're a half size but other than that, they're amazing.

These shoes are amazing. They made their big debut in Atlantic City last weekend and were a huge success. Ankle socks are a MUST when wearing these shoes if you want to keep them on all night, but other then that they are comfortable. I recommend these shoes to anyone who wants to make a cold fashion statement and stand out from the crowd

I love the JC 99 style as they are the comfiest pair of going out shoes i own and was delighted to see the range of glitter 99. Love my red pair and got tons of compliments but def not for the faint-hearted! The top bit is a bit hard though so make sure u wear with socks or there will be some chaffing.

(For all the aussie ladies out there!!) I am usually always a size 37/6 in shoes and i stuck to my guns and got the size 6 on solestruck and was absolutelyyyyyyyyyy delighted!!! OMG! I have found god in a shoe! I love these bad boys, they are so beautiful and unbelievably comfortable. I'm just under 6 ft and a solid woman and I was comfortable in these for like a good 6 hours. I love them, and they one day will be heirlooms for my daughters! They look fierce with black skinny jeans or a cocktail dress, cannot recommend them enough. Jeffery Campbell is a god amongst men! I will definitely be purchasing his shoes again. Gorgeous shoe box to!

These Shoes are so so amazing! they are certainly one of a kind and a must have! the photo doesnt do them justice at all, very comfy to wear however as people have mention they are very stiff around the ankles so wearing a good thick sock is a must..

I fell in love when I first saw these. They sold out straight away. When they finally got back in stock I bought them that day. They are amazing, very comfortable to wear the first time, especially since I'm used to wearing the 99's in black nearly every day. Got a lot of complements and wizard of oz quotes thrown at me first time I wore them. Must wear out more often. Buy them, you won't be disappointed. I'm normally a size 8, and got them in that. Perfect fit.

I would have to say these are even better than amazing. They are comforatable and i get so many comments when im wearing them. i went half a size up to make sure i could wear sox and they are perfect. Dont wait to they sell out of your size........just do it. you wont regret it!!!

This is a great shoe, but as otehrs have mentioned, it chafes around teh ankle so ankle height socks are definitely in order. Aside from that, I walked around NYC all day in them and had no problems. The heel is more than manageable and the style if FABULOUS!

Beautiful shoe and very easy to walk in. They do chafe around the ankle as mentioned in other posts, but they feel good even on my wide, mountain goat feet. I'm wearing them right now!

I have a few pairs of J.C. and they all feel great but with these I actually ended up with cuts on my shins and ankles from the top edge of the shoe rubbing my skin....BUT I am keeping them, call me crazy but they look too good and I will just wear some ankle socks in the future. They are THAT CUTE.

I feel straight up Dorothy Gale in these - caught up in a tornado of compliments. I find myself going out to club/dance just so I can wear them. Every girl needs a "WOW" shoe and these are definitely mine. Keep up the great work JC and Solestruck!

Well, click my heels and call me Dorothy! Of all my Jeffrey Campbell children, the Red Glitter 99 Tie is definitely a favorite. The shoe is true to size, easy to walk in, and every bit as bright as the photo. The material is stiff because of all the glitter and glue, but I wear socks with them and don't lace them up tightly so I don't find the stiffness to be too much of a problem. I'll have to see when I wear them with leggings because the stiffness could potentially bite into the ankle. They do shed glitter with wear - not a ton, but if you do trip on something or bang your shoe, it does tend to fall off. You might want to be careful when wearing them with pants because the glitter would snag the material or the pant legs will rub some of the glitter off. I'm searching for some matching red glitter for touch ups. These are really attention-getting shoes! I get mixed reviews - some people think they're weird, some people think they're cool. Wizard of Oz comments are rampant. Children are HUGE fans of this shoe. Gotta love those Munchkins :) Regardless, I LOVE these shoes. If you want them, get them and wear them with confidence! I ordered down half a size and the heel is still loose, while the toe area is narrow. But I hear that's just how JC's run? In any case, it's still comfortable. I got pewter which has a slightly more purple/blue sheen than the photo suggests. The glitter is fine-medium and seems to be stuck on pretty well, only a little fallout when trying them on, but I'm being cautious anyway. Cannot wait to wear these out!

There's not much to say about a red glitter shoe. It's obvious what the connotations are and these are a great option for Dorothy slippers (even though the silver is more accurate by the book's definition). Comfy and sturdy like the original 99 Tie. Fits about half a size small actually. I fit easily into 8.5 Litas and the 8.5 99 Tie had my toes hitting the end, but I have medium width feet, so that likely makes a difference. But really, it's glitter; who says no to glitter?
