I was extremely disappointed in these boots, they looked fabulous and I had high hopes especially because I am a huge JC fan, however I had a lot of trouble walking in them and I very rarely have that issue... also after wearing them once the heal broke off! I was very upset I ended up selling them to a friend. Although they look amazing, these were unfortunately a fail for me.

Pros - clean style, nice leather, cool design, killer look casual edgy meets vixen tough. Cons, way too tall - this shoe would be that much more functional and comfy it was just a half inch shorter, both platform and heel. I feel like I'm on stilts and Im 5'2 I could use the height boost, just feels a little excessive! I'm a 7.5 and the 8 fits well.

This shoe is fabulous.You can wear it anyway you want jeans, leggins, leggwarmers, you name it.Very versatile.The only downside of this boot is that the heel glued off.Very dissapointing considering its a Jeffrey Campbell Shoe and expensive.

I loved my Jeffery Campbell shoes, the only problem was when I received them they where defected. One of the soles on the shoes was basically off, so I had to send them back to you guys. :(

I got my pair of black boot camp shoes today and i was very excited! Solestruck's service is excellent! I received my shoes in 7 days via international shipping! I love these boots, but...after reading the comment before mine, i went to check my shoes again...and lo and behold she's right. The heels on the right shoe is so badly glued that i can see super glue sticking out from the gap between the body of the shoe and the heels..of course, it's not solestruck's fault, it's the fault of whoever handmade it in China. It's only obvious if i scrutinise it, so i'm still happy with the shoes overall, but i think i had an overly high expectation over the quality of Jeffrey Campbell shoes because this is my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes. However, i will definitely still be a supporter of Jeffrey Campbell shoes!

I’m really loving this boot. Not too bad to walk in, but definitely not an all day boot, at least not for me; I’m okay with that. This was a great buy and I have instantly updated my wardrobe... I can wear these gorgeous boots with skinny jeans, leggings, skirts and dresses! Very versatile.

love this shoe! i read reviews saying it ran big, I am a 7.5, but wear 7 in other JC shoes, but the 7 was too tight with socks. the 8 is perfect! i wear it with shorts, dresses, leggings, anything! and even though they are high they are super easy to walk and dance in and are comfortable!!! JC can never do wrong in my book

The girl below is right - this is the second coming of the Poland, which is like the third coming of the Burberry Prosum which I couldn't afford anyway. I jumped on these. I've had them for a few weeks, and I am totally in love with them! They're really comfortable for the height, I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. Great! A little too much lacing for biking, but I can tuck them into the boot and it's fine (I do not bike in these OFTEN but I am a commuter cyclist so it happens...)

I LOVE the shoe I received in Khaki I couldn't wait to sport them then I tried them on and DISASTER.. on the advice in the description I ordered down(against my inner judgment)and now I have to return for a size up PICKLES!!! I'm 8.5 I don't order a larger size in boots like some people do I always just get 8.5 unless whole sizes only then I go up to a 9 like I'm going to do now. I'm just one of those instant satisfaction types. I love the look of JC shoes but I've had problems in the past on other websites with sizing ie: 8.5 is to small lengthwise then I get the 9 and it's HUGE in width but length hadn't changed.. I'm HOPING it was just that particular pair because I do so LOVE the style of a lot of JC shoes so I'll see.. This is my 1st Solestruck order but DEFINITELY not my last. It was free shipping and my shoes were here I think it was OVERNIGHT YEAH!! I love your site your quickness and the shoe styles You ROCK!

I would advise sizing up, I am a 7.5 and got the 7 due to the reviews and what solestruck suggested. I can fit the 7 but I'm sure an 8 would be more comfortable, my toes are a little scrunched in the 7. Other than that it's a great boot.

I bought this shoe for my 19 year old daughter Taylor. She absolutely loves it! It looks great with her leggings and skinny jeans. Even tho I could never walk in something like these Jeffrey Campbells, she can and she says they are very comfortable. Unless my eyes deceive me, this is identical to The Poland Boot, one of Jeffrey Campbell's Fall 2009 collaboration styles with LF Stores. By the time I found out about this shoe, it had already sold out everywhere. I later found it on eBay and paid twice the retail price only to receive a mis-mate pair (one shoe a half size smaller than the other) which I returned. When I found the Boot Camp here at Solestruck.com, I gasped with excitement to find this shoe again when I wasn't even looking for it. It arrived very quickly. The heel is higher than it looks, but the platform helps with stability. They are comfortable, although you probably won't be able to walk around for hours on end without your feet beginning to hurt at some point (not uncommon for high heeled shoes). The leather is nice, the laces are strong, the wood heel and platform are sturdy and the lugged rubber sole is nice for traction. A high quality shoe, it won't go out of style and is well worth the price. They are so well made, will wear well and last and you can probably wear the Boot Camp with just about everything in all seasons. I rated it a 4 rather than a 5 because although the leather is nice it is matte and I like a little sheen (a minor preference). This is my third pair of JCs and surely not the last. If you like them, I highly recommend you make the purchase! That being said, there's been a price increase since I bought my pair two weeks ago. They're now $179.95, I paid $159.95. These boots are absolutely breathtaking! I am usually a 7.5 in heels but in these the 7 fit like a glove. These will look great with all your fall and winter looks!

Definitely order down as recommended.They are comfortable despite the height - I have just spent the day in them! Only let-down is that they are not a jet black waxy leather (which is why they lost a star)but I will be taking to them with black polish to sort this out.

i bought this shoe a while back and I absolutely love it. Not only are they extremly comfortable, but the added details such as the buckles on the side & the laces give the boot the ultimate chic, yet military inspired look. you can wear them in the winter with socks under or even in the summer (as a summer boot) with shorts and a t-shirts. Overall, I love and highly suggest!
