This is my go to shoe! It's an easy slip on now that it's cold for when your out walking the dog, going to the grocery store or that last minute spontaneous outing that you heard about. Whatever you decide there will be no doubt that you will look and feel sexy and comfortable at the same time! Now that's a combo that doesn't happen period (especially NOT in shoes)! The first thing I noticed about this boot was the quality of the leather....I'm a weirdo and the first test is "can I actually smell leather?"...HecK YeaH! Second, the hardwear...awesome! Nice gold brassy and decent weight!...moving on..I bought the brown to go against my own grain, I usually buy blAcK firsT!!!! Nope not this time somthing told me bRowN was gonna be extra hot! In all honesty out of greed I ordered the black because the brown was so nice but the quality just isn't the same...so black gets the boot and brown stays...the black is almost like some stretchy leather on the front tongue and straps...idk what that craps all about considering they're from the same line..oh well I'm happy with my brownies....cop a pair if you're quick...in brown that is!

awesome shoes. i've been looking at these shoes forever... and i decided to purchase them. it was kind of expensive but well worth it. it's extremely distressed and kind of heavy. it runs pretty large too... i'm usually 8 but i'd size down. the only thing i dislike about these shoes is how heavy they are! i wish they were a little big lighter...

Amazing! I love my boots and have worn them everywhere since receiving them. I am a size 7-7.5 but usually wear an 8 in JCs. I live in Australia and ordered the 8 but when they arrived they were far too big. I ordered the 7 (arrived last week) and I haven’t taken them off since! Hopefully- no dramas with solestruck when I return the original unworn pair for a full refund. These boots are super comfy (worn with socks or just stockings). They are very slouchy, the straps are loose and there is a slit in the leather on the inside to create more ‘slouchiness’. This means the boot is not fully enclosed and not toasty warm but perfect for the weather where I live. Photos are true to items appearance and I recommend you buy a pair in each colour!

I'm really not the type of girl who would normally wear boots like these because I feel better with a higher heel on my boots, but these are absolutely perfect and so comfortable to wear! This brings the rocker out inside of me. I'm able to wear these all day and into the night. I'll wear these all summer and into the fall! I'm a 7.5 and went down a size, but will only be able to wear them with thin socks. So if you are planning on rocking thicker socks plan on upping the size of this booty!

These are probably my favorite boots. They fit well, and even with the heel-- they're comfortable enough as an everyday shoe. They feel so great on your feet. :) They're my favorite boots because you can wear them in the summer, as well as the winter (make sure you're wearing heavy socks though!) They have a great sole (mine actually have to be resoled soon...) and I would buy it in every color if I had the money! the only thing about these shoes are the straps... they fit a little loose and end up slouching in one band at your ankle, but it's fine because you can always just double tie it and buckle it...

I had been drooling over these boots for months before I decided to take the plunge - I only wish I had done it sooner! These boots are so rock and roll and full of attitude. I normally wear an 8.5, so I went with a 9 and it fit like a glove (it gave me enough room to fit with socks perfectly). I love the distressed finish - even better looking in person! These are amazing to throw on with anything from girlie to full on glam rock. I'm in love....

I love these boots! They have this attitude that says...I rock...the only issue I have is that the leather of the boot shaft is a bit too soft so there is a tendency to have a gap with socks showing...something i solved by stitching the inner gap together. But on weekends, I live in them...

As many have already said, these boots fit on the large side. They also come with a pretty strong petrol scent, but I expect that to diminish over time. Though I am fond enough of these boots to keep them, I would dearly love to sit down with the designer and suggest a revised approach. First, the straps are lovely but should have some kind of D-ring system on the shaft of the boot to prevent them from flopping earthwards. Second, the shaft of the boot should be stitched just a bit upwards of the base to ensure the boot will stay on in instances where the wearer needs to run for a bus. But I quibble. Buy a size down or use inserts. Avoid crazed bus chasing... Embrace the floppy look. Enjoy these boots.

I got these boots a while ago and they were sitting in my room untouched for a few weeks. A friend of mine had them and I thought they were really cute, but wasn't sure if I could pull them off b/c my style is not totally edgy. However, when I finally bit the bullet and started wearing these, I haven't taken them off. In terms of style, you definitely have to have pieces in your wardrobe that compliment this rugged boot, but it shouldn't be hard with the fall/winter trends. I would say it's more on the trendier side, but I do believe this is a boot that I can wear for years to come, regardless of what the trends will be for the next cold season. In terms of fit, I am normally a size 7.5, but the 7 fit me perfectly. I do recommend sizing down in this case. It fits really well, and you can wear thick socks with it too, and adjust the straps to be looser, flappier, or tighter, making the boot more fitted. The look is pretty rugged and distressed, but the gold/brass detailing in the buckle and sole make it pretty, and special. The bottom of the boot sole is very thick, so you know these boots will last a long time, and you can wear them on icy/snow days here in the east coast, so long as it's not too bad that day. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, and I love that Solestruck had these shoes, not only in my size, but for cheaper than every other site! :)

Well, this is my favorite pair of boots hands down. I wear them with EVERYTHING, seriously, the other day a girl I am hardly acquainted with goes "what's with the boots? I've never seen you wear anything else!" Which is crazy because I own over 100 pairs of shoes, but these are the best! They certainly don't stay up like the picture, but that's ok because I love them to be slouchy. My one and only complaint is that the seam on the left shoe was a little weird, so the left boot falls open way more than the right, but being that they're distressed looking (I bought the plain black and distressed mine organically) I just added a safety pin to the side and now they're perfect! I'll be buying them in brown very soon. You won't be sorry if you get these boots, promise!

These boots have the most solid sole I've ever worn, the leather is amazingly treated and feels like a dream. The toe is hard, so you can wear 'em at concerts without getting numb foot, heel is low for everyday wear and there is no zipper to break since they close by wrapping the strap around the shaft. IN A WORD, FANTASTIC!!

Love these boots but I don't wear them as much as i'd like because they don't look like that on me. The straps are too loose and like some other reviewers have said, the front and back parts kinda flop. Found an easy way to fix this though, just unbuckle and create another ring of straps!

Finally received this boot today! (in black) I must say, these are STUNNING. So comfy (although the toe area is a little narrow but not a huge problem) these are hands down, the cutest shoes I own. I am in love with these boots. I got the brown in a 6, going down half a size after I read some reviews about it being a large fit and I'm really glad I did. The straps do wrap all the way which looks great but they don't stay like that, they just fall down into a single one and the boot then does come open at the sides. That kind of sucks if you want that particular look but I just leave them how they fall and scuff around them. That's why they need to fit you properly otherwise I think your feet would just come out of them. I still love them to pieces though and wear them absolutely EVERYWHERE! I love how they look, and I have already received heaps of compliments on them because they are so different. The price is a bit steep for the product (especially because I'm from NZ and had to pay US $$$ ouch!) But I'm going to wear them forever so all good. Recommend to all!

Very hip looking short boot. Goes great with just about anything. Gives outfit extra edge. Comfortable and easy to wear. Ankle of boots are not sewn together, they are like flaps... it's weird, but trust me it looks good. Be aware that black dye from leather bleeds terribly with initial wear. So wear around house a couple times with an old pair of socks to remove excess dye. Dye easily comes off of feet with soap and water.

This shoe is just what I wanted. If you're searching for a great distressed boot, just stop looking. They are amazing. The leather is really soft and it feels like I've been wearing these forever. The strap makes the boot however dressed down you want an outfit to be, creating a loose look or a more classic boot look. I got them in brown. They are amazing. Get them before they run out because I know I'm going to be wearing mine practically everyday.

i had to have these shoes. once i got them i had the gilt and even more credit debt. they were very nice n perfect for fall omg i wish i didnt return them but the $$ was a lil much. but i did try them on with thick socks to get a feel n they were rele snug. i would recommend going a half size up if u got wide feet. overall i loved the shoe but i had to send them bacj :(

the boots looked great, fit great and o love that the leather was all nice and broken-in. however, there was excess colour from the leather that got all over my hands from pulling the boots on (there was even smears of black on the shoe box too). as a result, i had to send them back; i'm not sure if the same would occur with the brown boots too. for all i know maybe it was just the pair that i received that this occurred? it's a shame, i really liked these. it's not like a pair of jeans that can be tossed in the washer to remove excess dye.

I bought these boots half size up because they were the only pair available. They are a bit too big. I suggest you go half size down if that's available. The boots are way too gorgeous that I can't bring myself to return them. I'm trying to make it work by inserting insole and wearing socks with them. It works out great, but I just hate the fact that I have to shell out about $40 for the premium insole :(

Another amazing boot. Love the distressed and rugged look and feel of the thick leather. Fits true to size. Was loose in the heel but those heel grip pads fixed that for me. Just a tiny bit narrow for my slightly wide foot but still comfy and will mold to your foot once the leather stretches a tad. Perfect Spring and Summer boot as well as into fall and next year.
