Received these today. Usually a 7 in JC, but I got 7.5 because it was the only size close to mine left. It is slightly big, the 7 would have been perfect. Like others said the top strap is loose, so I'm going to sew it tighter and then buy insoles to make the shoe fit more snug. However overall a great pair of shoes

Unfortunately the shoe I got made squeaky sounds, so I will have to return it for a refund. Otherwise, great style, and very comfy, fits true and the straps felt secure.

I agree with Mandy below, its better than i had expected! The strapping reminds me of preppy school girl shoes but the mirror piece and cut out wedge give it serious attitude. Its surprisingly comfortable cos i thought the toe area would pinch, but it doesn't - so its good for wide feet like mine. If you really want to get the perfect fit, measure the sole of your foot from the centre of your heel to the tip of your big toe and use the guide in the description. Im around 23.5cm bare foot and the 7.5 fit me perfectly, there's room for stockings and socks too. also note that these shoes gave me toe cleavage =p

this dirty lady is more perfect than i expected. i wore this pair to a wedding party and i become the focal point all night! all ladies staring at my shoes and it's sexy and comfortable! the mirror platform is what i really love, you can't believe how comfortable it is! you should get it before it sold out!

I really do like these shoes, but as others have mentioned, there are a few issues with the fit. I've never owned any Jeffrey Campbell shoes before, so I don't know how his other pairs typically fit, but these seem to hit very low on the heel. This makes them prone to slipping off. I added some inserts because they were a little big as well (I normally wear a size 8 and that is what I purchased). Even though they are a bit big, I'm willing to suffer through and wear them anyway because they are absolutely gorgeous.

Sarah: You were not dumb, they have changed the pictures recently. The ones before definitely did not feature the metal plates. Believe me, I checked really closely after I got the same surprise.

Just an update--the lovely people at SoleStruck contacted me to let me know I could return the shoes. :) It's too bad these didn't work out, but I will be back!

I was pretty disappointed by these shoes, I'm sorry to say. I would say they run a half to a full size small. I normally wear a 7 or 7.5, and I can barely get my foot in the 7. I was admittedly dumb and didn't realize these shoes have a big metal panel on the outside side. It's really shiny (and looks kind of cheap and cheesy), and I know it's going to get dirty and dented as soon as the shoes are worn outside. In even just trying on the shoes I accidentally dented one of the panels, which means I can't return these shoes (which don't fit). Bummer. If you order these, be really careful when you try them on!

I actually returned the JC Clinic for this more understated model, completely oblivious to the fact that these also have the heels mirrors featured on the clinics. When it comes to comfort and fit my expectations for JC are really high, so with that in mind these were a bit of a disappointment also in that perspective. The upper strap is too long (loose) and strangely the usual Jeffrey Campbell "high-heel-slipper-comfort" just wasn't there. I have the Raid and it is much comfier. I guess my bar is just set very high with JC, so these babies will be flying right back home to the store.
