this shoe is adorable!!!!!! the clear plastic is a very soft and flexible plastic, almost rubbery, so there are no rough edges...very comfortable...my only issue with the shoe, is due to a past broken foot, i didn't feel too sturdy in it...so bummed it didn't work out for me!!! :(
