As good as it gets. The JOE II from Jeffrey Campbell is an iconic season-less boot that is perfect for your closet for years to come. Campbell combines the
classic elements of a western roper boot, with a to-the-knee pole-climber
boot to create the JOE II. Front lace detailing and pinking detail at the toe
make this 100% leather boot nearly perfect. Inside zip for easy entrance and access. Low 2" squared off western heel make the JOE as functional as it is fashionable. 21" shaft height. 15" at calf (not expandable). Fits true to size. Size 8 insole measures at 9 5/8 inches or 24.5cm. Each half size is 1/4 inch or 1/2cm difference.

great style, but overpriced
i love the style of this boot! gorgeous and flattering. but i resale vintage clothing, and these boots pale in comparison to the quality of vintage boots. i was disappointed in the quality of leather and the soles are flimsy plastic. i also can't help but be saddened by the "made in China" stamp on the sole. theses boots were a gift, so i will keep them/wear them/love them, but if i would have spent $300 of my own money on them, i would have returned them. Solestruck on the other hand, is a wonderful company with great customer service and fast shipping. will definitely buy from them again. xoxoanonymous
This boot is even better looking in person! It hits right above the knee and would look so good over leggings and thigh highs. I ordered an 8, I usually wear a 7.5 or an 8 but it was a bit too big so sadly, I had to send it back. I exchanged for a different pair of jeffrey campbell over the knee boots so hopefully they will be just as amazing as these Joe 2 boots.Baran

I am in love with my boots! They are indeed a wonderful pair of boots! Very good quality and very well made. I am Short (not more than 5.1) and I was worried these gonna be too long or look awkward, but they look amazing, stylish, and sexy. it hits about 1.5 inch up my knees, as it meant to be long. Even on me who is a shorty it looks amazing and it is comfortable. Recommend it for sure.Rachel

Jeffrey Campbell - Brown over-the-knee boots
Love the style - been looking for an over-the-knee boot for ages which didn't make me look like I worked the pole at night. Joe 2 is the perfect fusion of a casual lace-up boot meets cowboy style. Glad I bought the size up because I have semi-fat calves so these just fit. Wondering how I will change the sole because it is rubber but I'll cross the bridge when I come to it. Also unsure of how to care for the leather as it appears to be a nubuck/suede-ish type, but maybe it needs some grease & dirt to look loved. Have received some comments and a lot of stares - not sure if they are looks of envy or looks of disgust. Either way, they are a shoe to empower so let them do just that! These photos really don't do this shoe justice. I just bought these in a size 36 (American 5 I think) and they are gorgeous. They are stiff at the moment but will surely be very comfortable within the next 2 or so wears. It sounds like many people had trouble with width but mine are perfect, I have narrow feet and can almost slip them on without undoing the zip.perfectwmn

I had same pair in 7.5 size which was to tight so I had to go up size, and size 8 did the trick I sold my smaller pair and got this one, Overall I like the look , as far as price It is overpriced but I havent found same for less ,,,,, so had to settle for thisKristin

I wanted over the knee lace up boots with a western victorian feel and these are perfect! I got a size 7 and they are tight, I couldn't have sized down with narrow feet. The leather is a bit hard but I bet it soften up over time. I can't wait to wear these with floral skirts in the spring and summer!Maresa

gorgeous, stunning, dramatic - need I say more
I've been searching for a western inspired fashion boot that's form fitting and flattering and this boot is nearly perfect. I love the profile of the foot/heel and the shaft that conforms to the contours of my legs when the laces are tightened up. The heel is just the right shape and height and I can wear them all day. They fit true to size and will accommodate a wide range of ankle and calf sizes. I'm a true 10-1/2 so the toe box was a little tight at first but hopefully will stretch out with wear. A full length zipper would have made them easier to get on/off, and I'll have the speed lace hooks at the top replaced with eyelets. Despite the minor flaws, this boot is stunning and turns heads and gets compliments wherever I go.hilly609

best boot I have bought so far
These are gorgeous, slim and can be folded down on top which is great. The leather is beautiful and they are really comfortable. I normally would order a 9 1/2 but the 10 fits great.
