I was looking for a cute summer wedge and wnted these in either suede, leather or lace, but all three were out of stock so I ended up with the floral one. It's so cute! The size runs small, so beware of that. The length was normal, but it was quite narrow in the front so it kinda squeezes my toes together. But very cute and super light weight!

I was worried about the height of this shoe (as I like my shoes to be stilts) but when they came in the mail I was pleasantly surprised. They are the most comfortable wedges as well as the perfect height. They're a very versatile shoe, good for a night on the town but then perfect for dinner with the family. I actually wrote a review about these shoes the day I unpacked them! This is pretty much a copy and paste from my own personal blog but: "MARIEL BY JEFFREY CAMPBELL. As I was saying – I got these in a 9, as they didn’t have an 8.5 at Solestruck. The length of the shoe is great, but the straps are made for a much wider ankle, so I’ll have to look at shortening them at some stage. Other than that, I’ve always been happy with how comfy the Jeffrey Campbell range has been. Had these babies on for roughly five hours and they are fantastic – save for the slipping heel grip. Was inspired to get these through fashiontoast. She rocks the Dolce and Gabbana wedges, but they look fairly similar. The V in particular at the bridge of the foot is great for me. As I say, short legs. ANYTHING TO GIVE THEM THE ILLUSION OF LENGTH IS GOOD." I've been waiting and waiting to get a pair in my size, and I am so excited to finally own them. I am a 6.5, and ordered a 7 as I saw the 1/2 size up advice. Fit is pretty good. I have a slight gap between the edge of my toes and the end of the platform, but I am pretty sure that the toe box will stretch out a bit and be perfect soon. Only wish is that the strap was better sized; I have to use the tightest sizing to get my size.

I've been wanting to purchase these shoes for the longest time but every single site was sold out in my size. So i was deliriously happy when Solestruck emailed me and told me they restocked. I normally wear a US7.5 (my foot is 24.5CM) but these shoes definitely run short. I ended up purchasing them in a US8.5 and i don't own any other pair of shoes in that size. There is a little room in the front, but that totally looks better than if your toes hanged off (US8 was 24.2CM US8.5 was 24.7CM). They're extremely comfortable because of the high platform but i put in a gel insole just for the ball of my foot just in case. So if you get the chance to purchase these, DO IT! Ignore the US sizing and just measure your foot and buy them based on length, you won't regret it :D

i purchased these shoes in buttermilk, to let you girls know ahead of time, the buttermilk color is more of a yellow-tone.. it looks kinda like a creamy nude. on the other hand, this shoe is so pretty! fits true to size, the back strap stretches out fast, but good thing theres so many holes for the buckle to tighten. overall, its super comfy and looks cute!

This shoe is truly amazing. This is my 5th pair of Jeffreys, and one of my favorites. Really comfortable to walk in, as most JCs are. The silhouette makes your legs look really long. I get compliments literally every time I wear them, from men and women. I would reccommend this shoe to everyone. There are two important things about this shoe which you should know. The first is about the sizing. I wear a 9 in the JC shoes that run "true to size", even though in most other brands I wear an 8.5. For these shoes I ordered half a size up because they claim to run short. DEFINITELY DO THIS. I would not have been able to wear the 9, as the 9.5 is perfect. Another thing you should know is that the "buttermilk suede" color is much more yellow in real life than it is in the picture. On my monitor, it looks like a light camel but it is actually more like a golden/straw color. It's still beautiful and flattering, just not what I expected. Still keeping them since they're so amazing.

This shoe looks great and can be paired with any outfit (it'll likely make any outfit look that much hotter). You'll probably receive attention for it, especially if you wear it with black lacy tights. The reviewers were right about the size; I went up to a 8.5 from an 8 and they fit just right. My only qualm is that Jeffrey Campbell shoes are never the easiest shoes to walk in. Hit the curb wrong or walk carelessly on cobblestone and your ankle is going to give you a piece of its mind. I have platforms that I can run in- none of them are Jeffrey Campbells. That said, this shoe is beautiful and I have no regrets. and one more thing, always make sure you spray your suede with a protectant before wearing them out and once more after wearing them out in inclement weather! ..why everyone is saying these shoes run short/too tight.. I am a true size 7 for my left foot and just a TAD smaller for my right. They fit PERFECT in terms of width for both feet, but too short for said right foot. I was terrified of what size to purchase based on all of the reviews... I really did believe that they would be too short, but I obviously needed to have them, so I went with my usual and purchased the size 7. The only issue I have is the ankle strap being a bit too loose for my right foot. I am actually not sure how to fix this besides cutting the strap and re-sewing the entire buckle :( I obviously don't want to do this!! But, I also don't want to look like an idiot with my ankle slipping completely out of my shoe. So, seriously, if you have narrow/regular width feet, don't bother going up sizes. *I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE LADIES ARE SAYING THIS!!!!* In every Jeffrey Campbell shoe I own (about 5) I have been true to size, but I actually wish I ordered a half size DOWN in these. Sad business... :( Anyway, these shoes are lovely and super, super comfy and soft. They make your legs look ridiculously long!! They are truly gorgeous. A must have for every true shoe girl! xo

I ordered the new mint color and love it!! I fell in love with the D&G version, but this is a much more affordable option. Unfortunately they didn't have my size (7) but, upon reading the other reviews saying the shoe ran small, I took a chance and ordered the size 8. They fit perfectly!! My normal size definitely would have been too small. There seems to be a huge inconsistency in both the sizing and the ankle straps, though. My pair was very evident of that. The right shoe fits perfectly and the straps were nice and snug (although I had to adjust it as far as it would go); however, the left shoe had really loose straps even at the furthest adjustment. My ankle kept falling out as I walked. I might have to put a grip in the shoe so that my toes don't slide forward to fix this problem. Aside from the ankle strap problem, the shoe is gorgeous and very easy to walk in. The suede is super soft but rather delicate in lighter colors, since any stains or rubbing would be more evident. I really wish that the black was available in my size!!

Can't understand how anyone can survive a shoe wardrobe without this gem! I've seen them around for a while and read all the rave reviews of how comfy and stylish they are, so when I saw them stocked here I just couldn't resist. I have several issues with shoes, and rarely find anything I can wear all day long that looks good and fits well. My feet are flat, very narrow, and hurt alot even in flats and reading reviews about shoes doesn't always cut it for me. So I contacted customerservice and got SUPERB help (and raised expectations) with choosing the right size. Lo' and behold, when I received these beauties and put them on I was so astonished because they fitted like gloves - and I can even walk with ease and comfort in them! Soft suede, cushioned insoles, rubber soles, stable though skyhigh, elegant and elongating, goes with anything and instantly upgrades whichever outfit you choose... Only minus may be that the strap needs an extra hole to grip my heel firmly enough to hold up - an issue I guess will turn up when you order up a size. The strap gets a bit too long/loose. When in doubt of which size to choose, send an e-mail with your measurements - I did, and with my 9 3/4" (25cm) long/ 3 1/4" (8cm) wide feet I got a size 9 in these which makes them a tad too long - but much preferred over major overhang. The next pair I might try in a 8.5 - because the suede will give a bit if it is too tight in the beginning. My only headache now is which other colour to choose for the next pair....

4 out of 5 because of the sizing issue, but not taking that into considering these are a 5 all the way for style and comfort! I'm a 7 in all of my other JC's but sized up to a 7.5. At first I thought I needed an 8 but after a few wears the suede stretched out nicely that I no longer had any yucky overhang. These are SUPER comfortable and totally sexy! They elongate my legs and I can be in them all night. <3 these...I need the Tan ones next!

After lusting over these shoes for months after seeing the D&G pair on Rumi Neely, I finally decided to purchase these. These shoes are much prettier in person, and the suede is super soft. They feel very comfortable. However, like the majority of reviewers have said, the Mariel black suede runs a half a size to a full size smaller! I've been a true size 7 in my past 5 pairs of JC shoes, and I got these in a 7.5, but I almost think an 8 would've been better. The back of my foot and the back of the shoe are the same. Also, the ankle strap is loose like many people have said. I'm hoping mine don't snap like others. I'd give these shoes 3 stars if they weren't so pretty & comfortable.

Ok, this is my follow up review. In my previous review I mentioned that I bought a 7 1/2 and they were way to small! I sized up and got an eight 1/2, and they fit perfect..I actually could have even got a nine and I don't own any shoes that are a nine..so again, these run really small..as I've mentioned before in my JC reviews..I adore his shoes but need more consistency with sizing..

I have these shoes in the black suede and they look great on. However they do run small in comparison to the other pair of Jeffrey Campbell's I own. I originally ordered the size 9 and had to return them and order the size 9.5, which was a bummer because I had to pay for the international shipping again as well as the return costs - I should have read all the reviews! These are comfortable shoes however I feel like the strap can feel a little bit loose when you're walking (even on the tightest setting). But all in all I really love them and they were worth the wait!

I have this shoe in two colors - python and pewter. I am desperately waiting for my size in black suede. I am in love with these shoes - I can walk in them all day. I am so glad Jeffery Campbell and platforms exist. As for the sizing, truly most odd, because I have one pair in 6.5 and the other in 7 (I am usually 6 or 5.5, never 7). Tough choice for me because 6.5 is very tight (but holds the foot firmly), while 7 is little too lose for my liking. But I like the shoe so much, I am trying to manage it. Please, Solestruck, bring it in size 7 (or 6.5...still haven't decided...) Overall super shoe!

This floral pattern def gives me this spanish feel. Like I could walk through the streets of madrid or barcelona and fit right in. Amazing really,but amazing is really all you can expect from Jeffrey Campbell all I'm saying is that I ordered a half size up (I'm usually a 7 and a 7 in the clinic ran a half size too big) Order a half size up for an exact comfy fit, for a little more room order a full size up. Great shoe, but Jeffrey needs to pay more attention to the sizing.

Of course the shoe is SUPER cute! I will have to agree with the people that say the shoe runs small, it def. funs SMALL! I have bought JC shoes on two previous occasions, one shoe is a 7 1/2 and fits perfect, the other is an 8 and it's a little big, so I figured getting this one in a 7 1/2 would be the right choice, NOT! I knew as soon as I took them out of the box they were too small:( I've ordered a size 8 1/2 and am waiting for them to arrive. I will come back and follow up once I receive them and see how they fit.

Fits true to size. These shoes look really cool with black pants, they make your feet look slender. Make sure you can walk in these sky scrapers though, I leaned to the side on day and fell over and the strap near the buckle broke off. Oh, and they made me taller than all my dude friends, which is awesome. These are my 6' shoes.

The Mariel goes with everything! And for a 5" pair of wedges, these are surprisingly comfortable. They do run half a size smaller . I'm usually a 7, but got it in a 7.5... which is a great fit. What would make this THE perfect wedge was if the strap at the back was stretchy, or perhaps just tighter.

Amazing shoes. A little small, but no more than half a size. Probably best to order one size up than you're used to, so to avoid any over hang. I can fit into a size 11 Jeffrey Campbell closed shoe no problem, but these were a little too small and I unfortunately had to sell them to a friend. Also if you're used to wearing really heavy, chunky shoes like I am, these will probably take a bit of getting used to. They're really, really light, but super comfy to walk in after a bit of practice.

If it was any smaller I'd have unsightly overhang. Onto how gorgeous they are.. they are honestly even more beautiful in real life. pretty much concur with everyone else about needing the extra hole on the strap to punch in bit. i didn't think i even have skinny ankles anyways but i still need to find or borrow someone's screwdriver to make that extra hole. on the other hand, i love these wedges and how tall they make me. extremely comfortable to wear and walk in. they do get dirt quite easily on them, or i just never look where i'm going, either/or. 4.5/5!

This shoe looks lovely on your foot. It runs true to size for me but i have narrow feet. If you have a wider foot, you may have to order a size up. I Normally wear a 7 1/2 in flats, and a 7 in heels, The 7 1/2 fits ok although the strap is at the smallest hole and i am worried it will stretch more. They are really comfortable but are also very precarious to walk in so walk with a partner until you get used to them. I almost fell 3 times. Since they look so good on i still give them a 4, but minus 1 for the danger of falling.

this is definitely the most comfortable heel i have ever worn. i mean, i could literally wear them for hours on end. the snake skin is also amazing and can either be super chic and polished or be the perfect component to a look that is all rock and roll. the only complaint that i have is that the shoe does run small, order up! and the strap broke, but was easily fixed... i just think i wear them too much :)

I love these shoes.. but I love all JC's. I think these shoes fit true to size. I'm an 8 and got an 8. They fit perfectly. My feet are on the wider side, and they fit just fine. I thought I would have a problem with the sling back sliding down, but not at all. Easy breezy to walk in. If you haven't snatched up a pair, what are you waiting for!? You will not be dissapointed.

I absolutely love the way these are. The structure, they're comfortable and they fit pretty true to size. I'll agree with most of the reviewers when they say that they slide off pretty easily but all that can be fixed by adjusting the buckle on the strap.

The best part is that they are light and comfortable, so they are incredibly easy to walk in. I would say that this is a major defect. By the time I received the shoes and needed to exchange, they were all sold out.

This is the only JC shoe I have ever bought that was NOT my true size. I had to get a size 7.5 for my normal size 6 feet to avoid unsightly overhang in the back. This shoe runs short, but apart from that super cute, versatile color and provides much needed height those that are less than tall. rating a 4 out of 5 only because sizing is off.

These are so sexy! And soft - they feel like heaven on your foot. Fits true in length and width. If you have little ankles, you might need to punch a couple more holes in the strap to tighten it around your ankle. So glad they're finally here!
