ive been eyeing these babies for months now, so i was very happy to see they were on sale! ive heard that jeffrey runs small so i was skeptical on ordering my true size. i went with my gut and just went for it and am happy to say they are perfect! i can say, at least with this style, that they are true to size and very easy to walk around in. i couldn't be happier!!

I was super psyched to get my Tardies...unfortunately once I pulled them out of their box I realized their were stains and weird impressions all over the tongues of the boots. It looks like this must've happened during packaging and easily could've been avoided. Unfortunately, things just got worse. Walking in them is uncomfortable and impractical. The gromets catch the strings when you walk...nearly fell flat on my face (and I am NO stranger to walking in high shoes, especially JC's, so it was no amateur mistake). Just looking at my Tardies irritates me now...wasted money

I had been eyeing off the Red Tardy's for ever, and finally got a pair as a birthday present for myself! They are beautiful and totally worth whatever you pay for them. I LOVE this shoe. They can dress down a really 'girly' dress and make it look a bit grungy and edgy which I love. They're fairly comfortable.. they only really start killing at the end of a big night wearing them, otherwise great. I love the Tardy, and want a pair in every colour.. but love the red leather.

These shoes are no doubt super funky. Impressively light, statement stompers for sure. However, the tongues on my boots had stains and imprints on them from the grommets, I think. They were tied only mildly tight when shipped, so I'm not totally sure how this happened. Unfortunately it shows since I purchased a light colored pair. Major bummer, which probably could've been avoided.Perhaps, only the most obsessive of us (me) would notice/care, but I take my shoes pretty seriously! Oh well, they won't go unworn.

Have been wanting these shoes for a long time, have been wanting to buy two colours but may not now due to sizing. I am in between sizes usually 9 to 9.5, went up size to the 10's as no half sizes in this shoe. Little disappointed as too lil too much room even with socks on. Too scared to buy a 9 as in other reviews theres mention of the stiffness not giving too much leeway. But with the look of the shoe it overides the size problem and ill just probably use insoles. Would have been perfect if did half sizes in the Tardy's :)

I had been eyeing the Tardys for a long time and they did not disappoint. These shoes are extremely comfortable for their height. Previous reviewers found the shoe heavy/cumbersome but I feel the weight of the shoe is much lighter than I expected and I don't wear heels often at all. I danced all night in them with no blisters/soreness the next day. Tardy is in my opinion an exceptionally versatile shoe; you can dress it up, rock out in them and I have been tempted to wear them during daytime. Word of caution: one thing I did find a minor bother was that the left shoe was noticeably more creased in the leather front of the boot. However Solestruck states theses shoes are 'hand distressed' which adds to the aesthetic and character of the shoe. I like this concept of having an individual pair of hand crafted shoes which Jeffrey Campbell is famous for rather than having a standard factory clone shoes. Once I wore the shoes out more, the creases smoothed themselves out and became barely noticeable. The stitching on the shoe also varies along the shoe which means no two shoes will be the same, the white stitching on black is very striking and attention grabbing. I love this shoe!

Beautiful. Gave these blue velvet Tardy wedge boots as an xmas gift to the gf. She loved them (she's a huge JC fan). She says they might be the most comfortable platforms she owns. Score! She usually wears an 8 in the brand and they fit well as always. Looked great with her black skinnies, but they fit well into her neutral wordrobe (great way to add some color). Definitely adds funk and style to a casual oufit, but also some edge for going out. Ladies, they're HOTT!

these shoes have been #1 on my wish list for a long time, so i was really happy to see them included in the black friday sale! they took a bit long to arrive, but when i got them i thought they looked a little clunky at first sight, but when i put them on they looked really, really cute on my feet. the shoes are quite heavy since the sole is made out of wood. i'm an eu size 40, and ordered size 10. they are too big, but since they're more comfortable using an insole, i guess that's alright. overall they're really comfortable, which is amazing since they are the highest shoes i own. i think i will wear these shoes a lot since they're really versatile and can be worn in so, so many ways.

I finally decided to get this in red leather. It took about 14 days to reach Singapore. these babies are so steady and comfy, i can literally run in them. They are just as classic as a pair of doc mart that every girl should own. Run true to size, my feet measured at 25cm, usually wear US 8.5/UK 6/Eur 39, and US 8 is just perfect. Stop hesitating, get your tardy like NOW!

I received the JC Tardy only recently. Overall aspect is very satisfying and i find it to be well constructed and well done. However, i find the leather to be stiffer than my black distressed Lita but i guess the leather is thicker for the Tardy. When i wore them, it feels really comfortable. I love the look of it, the height gives a beautiful silhouette and makes your legs look longer! Wow!! These boots is a classy and gives a more sharper, edgier look than the Doc Martens. Definetely a pair to buy. It could be a good basic to wear as i think it can go with every look, from skinny jeans, dresses, shorts or long skirt and maxi dresses. My next options would be the Tardy in studded Jeans and the Tardy fur yellow with tiny black hearts. I am a singer/composer/songwriter from Paris, France. i got these in black during the 40% off sale. love the look of the shoe. it pretty much goes with everything! i'm normally a 6 and i ordered a 6 and they fit fine. i'd suggest ordering a size up if you want to put a gel insole in there because they are a little hard on the bottom of your feet.

I've gotten compliments everywhere every time I've worn this boot. The blue colour is wonderfully intense, and the platform is gloriously high. My shoes need to be both striking and wearable, and the Tardy wins on that front too. I did put a gel insole into them right off, and I've found them very walkable -- including for an impromptu theatre strike one night! I do wish the platform was rubber all the way down (more resistant to damage) and had a bit more tread. And the tongue-loop for the laces seems fragile, and though I'm being careful with it, I suspect it will tear sooner rather than later. Other than that, though, it's a great addition to my collection.

this shoe looks DARK blue in the picture and when i got it, it was BRIGHT BLUE. false advertising. so disappointed! and final sale -_-. sizing is a lil big as usual w/ all JCs, but since they only sell these in whole sizes, i suggest getting the bigger size (wear it with huge socks!). the shoe is heavy, so be prepared to walk in it. also, velvet isn't the best material for the tardy because it's very flimsy, and unless it fits like a glove, your foot will be swishing around a lot in it. i suggest you get the tardy in a leather material. other than that, it is definitely a statement shoe. have fun rocking them!

First thing to mention, premium customer service at Solestruck. It is always pleasant to contact them and buy particularly from their site. The shipping was very fast, considering that I live in the middle of nowhere. Not to mention very fast responses to all my emails. As about the shoes, they are simply GENIOUS. I got them in red color, and the color is super trendy- deep red. The design is so simple, that you can wear it with everything, and also everywhere because they are very comfortable. That is why I consider them genius. I am 6,5, but usually I wear 6 in JC. Most of the reviews said that they fit small, and it got me order size 7, which is little bit big on me. This is not a problem at all for me, because I can wear it with thick socks. The quality is excellent. In reality they look muuuuuch expensive, than they cost. And this is what we all are looking for. They give so much height!!! You cant imagine, unless you buy it. I 200% recommend.

The blue tardy is absolutely gorgeous. Don't be fooled however by the photo the shoe is not that dark in person. It's way closer to a royal blue but it catches the light and can go from dark to light. It was a great buy. Sturdy platform light weight great laces and fits like a dream. Looks great with shorts or skinny jeans. A must buy!

This has to be the most comfortable boot in my wardrobe, more comfortable than Lita herself! The platform is strong and sturdy, yet can be a little hard on the soles without the aid of a gel insole. Since the platform is also wood with a rubber sole, it does make a loud clomping noise when you walk. Yet it's Tardy's way of letting everyone know that you've arrived! These are also great for adding an edgy touch to any outfit, I'd definitely recommend these. I'm a size 4.5 but ordered a size 5 and they fit great, which is why I love JC shoes!

i absolutely loved this shoe. its very comfortable for its height. it would be perfect if it came in halves as it runs smaller. im a 5 but i think a 5.5 would be perfect. the only thing is im not sure its real leather or a mix of leather and some other material as its a bit hard and it doesnt smell like leather. also the platform inside the shoe would be nicer to be made from some other material as its really hard and it can get uncomfortable. i would like to ask others tha have this shoe. is it real leather or is it just me that thinks that its not?

I waited and waited until I thought I'd just about die waiting and then these shoes went on sale and were re-stocked in my size! Despite being fashionably late, I'm totally making up for it with the frequency of wear in these shoes since I got them.5 These shoes are great! I have the red pair and they are so gorgeous. I was uncertain whether these would only be flattering for girls with tall & slim / slender builds, but these shoes look great on this short athletic person. All looks aside, these shoes are not the most comfortable. There's no padding in the foot bed so you feel the wooden sole all the way. Gel inserts would remedy this issue. The toe is a little narrow, so sizing up half a size would give you a bit more wiggle room and accommodate your thick socks. Make the Tardy a timeless piece of style for your wardrobe!

JC and Solestruck delivers!!! These make me look bad ass! They are a little hard to walk in (note, hard and not difficult) and a half size would have been perfect for me (ordered sz.7, would have liked 7.5) but I can still work it. Colour is PERFECT (red). They are darker than the pic. which was what I hoped for. Ox blood, like my grandmother said when she saw them :) She loved them too.

im a size 7. When my shoes came in, they looked tiny! but they are true to size, and fit snuggly! they are extremely comfortable to walk in. Dont be afraid of the height! i ordered the red. be warned, they are quite dark. overall, i love this shoe! i really want another pair!

I have them in blue and the color is a beautiful bright blue. They're comfortable and pretty easy to walk in, but not quite as comfy as the Lita's imo because the bottom is a bit harder. They make you super tall and will get you loads of compliments, plus they'll go with anything!

I love this shoe! Super comfortable, a little bit less than the litas, but almost there. The reason i'm giving it 4 stars only is because the leather on the inside upper part of both shoes was all crumpled and stiff...I would expect a little more when paying two hundred dollars for shoes. But apart from that I love them. So high and so versatile!

I love Jeffrey Campbell don't get me wrong I have five pairs and when Envi shoes first came out with the velvet tardys I freaked out when they sold out in my size so quickly. But honestly I didn't like them. The heel seemed cheap and heavy and very loud. The velvet and leather is thin and doesn't have a firm shape and so it slouched. The velvet itself is such a great color. But I also didn't like the laces, they seemed rough and manly. Sorry Jeffrey Campbell but I had to return the tardy..

Fits true to size, perhaps a little narrow. Fairly easy to walk in, I just hate the lifted toe (a la most Steve Madden shoes) that force you to rock back and forth. I wish the bottom was padded so it wasn't quite so loud - especially awkward with the rocking back and forth so you make double the noise in a quiet hallway. My ankles got pretty cut up from the first few times wearing these, which I guess is expected because they are lace-up boots, and I had to double layer with band-aids and cuffed socks. Killer shoes though. Def worth all the trouble. What are you waiting for? PS - I have the blue, it's electric.

There is not enough exclamation marks in the world to describe how happy I am with these shoes! Had to go up a size because there were no half sizes available (am AU size 8 and ordered a size 9). So it's a bit roomy in the front, but they have so much support that its nothing a pair of socks won’t fix. They are beautiful, comfy and easy to walk in. And super fast shipping to Australia!

I bought the size 7 and it fits perfectly, though I have narrow feet and could see how if you're between sizes there's not much room up the front. Also, the Ice colour is a darker colour than in the picture, it's a bit more brown than grey if you get what I mean. I feel like I can do some serious stomping in these babies!

The orange tardy is such a bright and happy shade I couldnt resist at all after getting the red tardy , and have to just buy the orange, now i m lusting after the blue ! Can someonewho has bought the blue upadte what kinda blue it would be? Would be a intense elcetric blue or is it close to a navy ? Anyway I hope it comes in even more colors . Although it is 90° in NYC I could not wait to wear my new Jeffrey Campbell Tardy boots! I purchased three pairs in blue, yellow, and orange and have gotten so so so many compliments on them and could not be more pleased. If you order the Ice or Olive, you don't need to worry about breaking these in. I didn't realize this and excitedly ordered a second pair in Yellow, only to feel like I couldn't walk! The real leather doesn't offer much flexibility.

I'm absolutely amazed how comfortable this shoe feels. The laces really help the shoe conform to the foot. The heel provides stability that made walking broken sidewalks at night an easy task. Fits true to size, a rarity for the brand (and a personal pain in the ass for having one foot slightly bigger). Ordered the Tardy in Ice which is lighter than the picture and came scuffed at the toe with imprints of the eyelets and inset that probably wouldn't show on a different material. Love them, not the price tag.

This shoe is a pretty decent knock off of the Chloe docs from a few years ago. I ordered the red and when i pulled them out of the box i was like woah- this is a pretty big shoe with a huge platform! despite this they are very comfy and not too heavy. true to size and no need to size up. be aware that the red is darker than the picture appears.

In love with the JC Tardy. They are sooo amazing and comfortable. Only downside is that this fab shoe is a bit on the heavy-side, guess it's to be expected when your stompin' around in 5 1/2 inch platforms. I'm a true size 6 and seems to me, this shoe runs slighty small. Wish I had ordered a 7. Hopefully they will stretch out once I wear them out a bit.

I was pysched when I saw these come on the website because they look like a great affordable alternative to the Chloe & Dr. Marten boots that came out a while back! I got them yesterday and they are everything I expected and, as usual in Terms of Jeffrey Campbells, super comfortable. But, I am pretty peeved at the scuff mark on the toe. I understand that they probably cant check out every shoe when they come, but the last pair of JCs I bought from here I had to return because they were so damaged. If I'm gonna be digging out of savings to get some awsome shoes, they better be pretty close to perfect. Just sayin.

Can't get enough of this shoe. It is the perfect ankle boot. I'm a 7/7.5 and got a 7 with them being a little tight but after breaking them in they will fit perfect.

First of all, that song by Kim Zolciak is very rude to use for this shoe as it sucks and these shoes rock the house. Great knock-off of the waaaay too expensive Chloe and a much better design than I anticipated. The hooks at the top are actually stiff enough to pull the boot to your ankle. I often don't lace the very top so I have an extra large knot. There is a break-in period with these, so be aware that the leather isn't soft and supple in the beginning, but with a few days of consistent wear, they will become better than slippers. Honestly, probably one of my favorite releases this year. LONG LIVE THE TARDY!
