This pair of Ticks are beautiful and of great quality but am disappointed they run big! I recommend going half a size down because of the peep toe. Solestruck didn't have 7.5 when I got them so I had to order an 8 but am frm Asia so it would cost too much to exchange it now... :(

Just wore these for the first time friday night and let me tell you I love them. I was walking to meet a friend across town to meet a friend for drinks in NYC and they really made a statement. My feet did hurt I was walking across several avenues so I popped into a duene reade and bought a pair of insoles borrowed scissors from the cashier to trim off the toe part and was good to go. After that they felt like sneakers! They are awesome and comfortable once you put a cushion insole in. I was out all night and they were super comfy! Also did not lose one tack. Tbe shoe is an A+ I saw other reviewers say they didnt like the open toe because you cant wear through fall/winter but I have no problem throwing on a pair of Hue sweater tights and being set! So they really are versatile. I just got the Lita Spike which are closed so this is a nice sexy alternative. I just discovered JC and Im glad I did

This shoe looks amazing. Even in the box, it make a big impression! On feet, it looks even more gorgeous!!! The silver decoration and black leather give it a really edgy, rock style! The heel is high, but very comfortable thanks to the platform. I wasn`t sure if I was size 7 or 8, I ordered 8 and it is slightly too big - my toes are only partially visible and the shoe is rather wide. Still it is only less than 1cm too big, so I can still wear it bare feet or socks, but next time I will order size 7! Anyway, I LOVE them!!

These were an absolute impulse buy. I saw them on a friend and immediately went home to scour the internet in the hopes of finding an exact replica. I originally wanted the black version but I'm glad I choose these instead. I found them to be super comfortable, very urban and surprisingly versatile. They're unusual and the dull gold studs make it easy to pair with silver or gold (I can only wear either silver OR gold I'm anal like that) I would recommend these to anyone. They're my first open toed pair of booties. They're a reasonable hight - I haven't fallen over yet. The leather is fantastic quality and the packaging was very lovely. Solestruck were excellent with their service. And I will most definitely be using them again.

I purchased this shoe months ago. I have only worn them about 8 times, maybe more. The shoe has come apart and some of the tacks are falling out. Don't know what happened. I own lots and lots of JC shoes and this has never happened to any of them. Sometimes when I'm getting out of my car, I can find 1 or 2 tacks in the floor of my car. It's not like I'm kicking bricks in them. I only wear them when I'm shopping or going out to dinner. So I don't know why they are coming apart. I love these shoes so much that I am going to buy another pair. I'm still JC's #1 shoe fan!!!

I couldn't find this shoe ANYWHERE but solestruck.com. These are my most expensive shoes, and so well worth the price. Even my mom loves them and has hinted at stealing them! I have yet to wear them outside of my house, though. Fitting is true to size somewhat. I am usually an 8.5 so I ordered that size. Maybe because it zips at the ankle it's a little bit tight now and with wear it will loosen up, but I almost wish I could see what a size 9 was like.

JC put the capital F in Fabulousity! These boots are like walking in high heeled sneakers. One problem is that the tacks are not real secure and fall out all of the time, but I just went to Staples and bought a box of silver tacks to fill in the holes. OMG love them and I need them in the burlap for summer, but they are sold out!

I recently just bought these shoes. I wore them the first day and a lot of the studs came loose as I was walking. The studs aren't even secure. Their just pushed in. Imagine a push pen, that would describe the studs on these shoes perfectly. OK so obviously I'm crazy for this shoe...and crazy for you, Solestruck since you got them for me when no one else could! I'm an 8.5 - 9. I ordered both, and in this type of shoe the 8.5 is much better - snug and not sloshing around. I have tiny ankles and these fit me perfectly. The gum sole is great - no skating around tile floors. Despite the height, I find them very comfy.

I had a crush on these boots the moment I saw them!! I originally ordered the same size I wear in boots but found they were too big. They DEFINITELY fit true to size and I doubt they would fit anyone w/ "cankles"! LOL Unfortunately I think one of my boots slipped past QC because the tacks are not aligned as well as the other boot at the bottom--it looks a bit sloppy.

This shoe is hot, as we all know. That is not up for debate. It's also really comfy, I think. There is some dispute about how the sizing runs on these. In my experience with JC footwear (which is a LOT), I think his boots tend to run fairly TTS, but his shoes tend to run a bit small. THERE ARE ALWAYS EXCEPTIONS. For example, my "true size" is probably a 9.5. But so few brands make a 9.5 (who knows why) that I have gotten used to buying 10s and having them be a skosh too big - which is usually the case for me with JC boots. I had heard these ran a bit big for JC, so I bought a 9.5. They fit fine; if they were the tiniest bit smaller they would look better, but the 9 is the tiniest bit TOO small. So I stuck with the 9.5, because I think a tiny bit too big is better than a tiny bit too small. All that to say, my thought is that if you're pretty solidly in one size most of the time, you should probably get that size in these. If, like me, you're right on the cusp of two sizes, you should get the smaller size. I hope that was more helpful than it was confusing. Now I need a drink.
