I am a perfect Australian size 6 (which is apparently a US size 7), bought these in my usual size and they are at lease half a size too big... had to put in soles in to make them fit. (p.s. i also bought a pair of foxys in a US 6.5 and they were HUGE on me... makes me wonder the accuracy of size conversion charts!) HOWEVER on the bright side the tapestry print is soooo much cuter in person and make them stand out so much more than your generic oxfords out there! love.

Gorgeous shoe, fits tight, just as I like. A bit stiff at first, but I'm sure that will go away with wear.

I really like this shoe. It is exactly what I was looking for and works perfectly with my boyfriend jeans, rolled at the ankle or skinny jeans. I love it with this cutsie schoolgirl inspired outfit that has the perfect tights with KNEE PATCHES! These shoes even inspired me to pick up a pair of suspenders. :) They wear in the way you would imagine for this type of shoe, taking a bit of the shape of your foot. So get a size that is appropriate for your foot i.e., not too small. The leather does scratch, giving it a worn look and they do need to be waterproofed although I haven't done that yet. Because the heel and sole are rubber, there's no slippage which is an added bonus. Oh! One more thing, the inside color will bleed onto socks in the beginning if wet. Aside from that, they're great. Enjoy!

I knew I wanted these shoes from the moment I laid eyes on them, walking around on some girls feet in Urban Outfitters. I inquired after their origins, and promptly went home to purchase my own pair. They arrived swiftly and I wore them to work the next day. I'm quite pleased with the amount of class they added to my wardrobe. I usually buy size 7 or 6.5 in shoes. I bought these in 6.5. They fit perfect. If you're a true size, its possible you'll want to buy a half size up since the shoe is narrow in the toe bed, but if you have fairly narrow feet/toes (like me) I'd order true to size. I don't know what all this talk about wide side openings is, because mine look perfect. Did I mention how classy these are? I feel like I look like my Grandma back in her sexy lady days.

A nice shoe, albeit a bit loose on the sides. I thought it fit true to size lengthwise, but there was some gaping along the side openings. Overall, I am happy with them, but they would be perfect if they were a tad narrower.

I just got this shoe in gray and I'm totally in love. I'm a true size 8, and they were a little stiff and snug at first, but I went out dancing in them the first night and was totally fine. I'll break them in more before going without socks. I didn't find the sole stiff at all, and in fact think they are very flexible and comfortable, and the bottom is nice and grippy. They are a perfect alternative to a flat, and are incredibly cute with skinny jeans and dresses. This gray is almost taupey so pretty much matches everything. Get a pair!

It is a bit snug, but I'm sure they will stretch a bit. Super comfy, my only issue would be how solid the sole is. Because it doesn't bend, walking is a bit more awkward, but otherwise these shoes are amazing.

I'd order a half size up as they were snug all around or a full size larger if your half size isn't available. A heel grip pad for the back would take up any extra room.
