Usually you get the most brilliant results when you work as a team, which is why we LOVE it when brands collaborate. So when LA-based Matiko teamed up with the clothing line AI FOR AI and came up with this to-die-for mixed media bootie---we knew we were in trouble. AI For AI is officially our new obsession and one of our fave collabs to date. Patent, fur, suede and perforated leather has everything and the lace up, army-style boot structure is our #1 pick for FW/11. Reserve your pair now! Careful, people are going to freak out when you wear these---we know from experience. 4 1/2" heel and 1 1/2" platform. Leather upper and lining, man made sole. Fits true to size. Size 8 insole measures at 9 5/8 inches or 24.5cm. Each half size is 1/4 inch or 1/2cm difference.

I wish I could give the feedback about the shoes that I had been waiting for. I loved them the moment I saw them (online). Unfortunately, since you, guys, screwed up my order, I not only got those hideous "Uggs" instead, I no longer need Matiko shoes. Very bad experience. But, oh well...

so fun!

i bought these during the black friday crazy madness. i really was hoping for some litas to go on sale, but i decided these were a good substitute. OH MY GOD. these are SO comfy. i can wear them all day, and it feels like i'm just chilling in flats. except for i'm so tall. i ordered my usual 7.5, and they fit me just right. i have a wide bridge to my foot, but they're not snug at all. people always notice and complement them- only bad thing is that i already have a nick in the patent on the toe. i think i can glue it down, and it won't be noticeable. other than that, these are my go to ass kicking going out shoes. definitely get these if you see them on sale! so worth it. considering ordering another color during the flash sale...

the green version was what did it for me; i love the army look on such an aggressively womanly shoe shape. i think they look fabulous in person, are comfortable and easy to walk in. they attract a lot of attention, but interestingly most people think they are jeffery campbell litas. fit was true-to-size for me, i.e. i am a bought 6.5.

LoveThese Shoes!!

When these shoes arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were. I haven't worn them yet, still searching for the perfect outfit but they appear very rich and expensive. They are also true to size and easy to walk in. I am 5'3" and 210lbs. These shoes feel like tennis. Thanks Sole struck, you are the best.

Size IS everything!

This is a fabulous, creative, hot shoe! Problem: It is sized very poorly! I purchased an 8 1/2, which is actually a 7 1/2! Now, the 9 1/2, which would be comparable to a true 8 1/2, is out of stock! This was a Christmas gift, and so now, I huge hassle, and no shoe!

Comfy

I was pleasantly surprised to find out how comfy this is, I found this shoe to be much comfier than my pair of JC Litas. One star taken off because the tongue in my left shoe wasn't attached when I received the shoe. It's not like I can't fix it, it's just that I wasn't expecting to be making repairs... even if I did buy during the boxing day sales.

I love love love this shoe. I actually like it alot more in person than I was expecting. I got the army green color and it goes with all sorts of outfits. I also walked around in these for quite some time and my feet never hurt, and I usually wear flat shoes. They also fit true to size.

the color in life is different. it's all light taupe (but seems that there are 3 colors: taupe, pale ('dirty') pink and brown) - but in fact there are all taupe with black parts. quite comfortable, but the leather on the front side not very good done (at least, on my boots) and on both boots the glue is noticeable :( and also on my pair there are some black scratches, hm

I got this in taupe and it's true the colours look more vivid in the pics, but still gorgeous nonetheless. They have become my fave pair of shoes! I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 and I went with the 9 and they fit perfect! They're very comfy too. So glad I got a pair before they ran out of my size :D

Looks Better Online

Loved the green online but no so much in person. The pictures are well lit and shows the amazing detailing of the shoe but in person it actually looks like a puke green. That being said they're very comfy and I think I could easily spend a whole day running errands in them. However, I'm sending them back today :( Time to grab a pair of Litas!!
