I love this shoe to pieces and literally scoured the globe to find it! The only problem is I have worn them once indoors and already the sole has started peeling off so i've had to glue it back down. when i wore them walking down my driveway to get into a taxi, the wood at the front where the platform curves up must be very soft and if has dented and chipped. for only one wear and all of this, it's pretty upsetting after paying almost 400nzd to get my dream shoe. But i figure if I sent them back for a replacement then the same thing will only happen again. The design just could have been better, as could the quality of materials used to build them but this is Maurie&Eve and fault and not solestruck! nicola xxx

I have a pair in black suede with the wood heel and they are aesthetically amazing, i have gotten a lot of compliments about how sleek and slimming they are! fits true to size also. however the zip fastening doesnt seem to lock and i find myself pulling the zips back up numerous times during the day. the spine of the suede also digs into the back of my ankle when i stride to walk which is rather uncomfortable so if you are the type of person that loves to move around a lot, these shoes are not for you. the height will be too dangerous for your swift movement, and if that isnt enough, your achilles tendons will be the death of you after a long day of being a stunning diva strutting your stuff in these shoes! beautiful pair of heels, but it has taken me quite a long time to get used to its nature.

I got these shoes about a month ago and I can't stop wearing them! Amazing height, and so comfortable because of the platform and wedge in harmony. They make your legs look amazing and long and are easy to walk in. The grey and the bone are both amazing colours (I saw the bone in a store) If you're thinking of getting these shoes; definately do. If anything, they fit a bit small but they perfectly mould to your foot. Most amazing shoes; worth the price.

it is out of this world!! I purchased the navy, they are very high so give the figure a very nice line, very comfortable, snug fit, come in beautifully at the ankles. therefore look fantastic with anything, whether soft or heavy fabrics. if you want to be different and noticed these are definately the shoes for you!

I ordered this shoe with excitement, but I was rather disappointed when I received it. It is quiet heavy to wear and they grey palate was not as beautiful as the picture shows.
