I really wasn't sure about the whole plastic shoe thing...but they are super fun and they have a really nice arch support which is always a plus! the patterned part on the wedge reminds me of those little beads that you used to melt together at camp to make coasters and stuff (remember those?) in a really adorable way. i thought that the plastic might rub, but so far so good! the sizing is a little funny though-like most people one of my feet is a little bigger than the other...I'm a 7.5 the 7 is perfect on my right foot but too small on my left and the 8 is perfect on my left foot and too big on my right...went with the 8 in the end and I'm just going to add a toe pad to the right foot. problem solved.
