I procrastinated about buying these boots and consequently missed out, so was so thrilled when they were back in stock. Having never tried Rachel Comey shoes living OS, I took a gamble and went with a 7.5 (I'm normally a 38) and they're PERFECT. I have literally worn them everyday since I got them. They are narrow, but I have a narrow foot so this wan't a problem. The leather is soft, so if you have a wider foot they would stretch out a little I think. Now I want more colours!

I got the stamped maple boots and they're so lovely. The color is really rich and I like them better than the tan ones because there's more contrast between the light heel and the leather. I didn't think I'd like the stamped texture but it's actually very pretty in real life. I'm normally an 8 and the 8 in these fit me fine. They are true to size lengthwise. They are a little narrow but not ridiculously so, and I always thought my feet were a little on the wide side. I've only worn them around twice so far but I find they're not the most comfortable, at least not so far. When I walk in them, all of my weight gets pushed forward to the front of my feet (toes/ball of foot) and they hurt after a few hours. I added a Dr. Scholl's insole that helps a little but still, I can't wear these all day long when I'm running about a lot. I've talked to two other girls who have them and they say the same thing! I guess on the bright side it'll force me not to wear them constantly so I won't wear them down too fast. But everyone compliments me on these all the time and they make every outfit look better. I just hope they break in and get easier to wear!

Such a pretty color, the Lavender. It's what I might also call puce. It's a very pretty softened shade though. I tried the 8.5, which was perfect in length, a little tight in width, but I wouldn't go up considering. Nice heel height and look. More needs to come in this color!

This is pretty much the best basic black bootie out there - So comfortable, so easy to wear (summer/winter) and they get 5-stars for not giving you the 'cankle' look, for those of us that are cankle-prone! ;) These are perfect! And worth it!

i love love love this shoe. its my second color - i have it in the honey color as well and its my favorite ever. also = your customer service and systems are amazing. the ONE thing i have to complain about is that the rubber sole is already peeling off a lot in the front of BOTH shoes. it has not been an issue with my other pair so its weird. i have to take them to the cobbler already and i've had them less than a month...pretty bummed about that but that's not really your fault :)

read the really lovely reviews and had very high expectations of the shoes. They are really beautiful and the quality is great. But I just regret ordering the black/nude colour because they are pretty on the picture, just not pretty on my feet. It is hard to match them with my outfits! (tips, anyone?) not to mention the fact that they are quite expensive...Overall a bit of disappointment, but impressed by the quality

I am just under five foot with short stumpy legs , the way the boot is cut is very flattering! The height of the heel is just perfect and such a chic edgy shoe. Everyone has mention the boots are a tad narrow however I would say otherwise. Love Rachel Comey!

These are perfection...fit like a glove right out of the box, and just get better the more you wear them. I have heard some say they run small, but I have my regular size 7.5 and they are perfect. One thing I will say is that I do wear them with a very thin sock. They seem a little on the narrow side, so if you're planning to wear them with a thicker pair of socks, I'd try going half a size up.

I tend toward classic with a sporty twist. These boots are perfectly classic in cut but with the very modern two-toned pop. They elongate petite frames without being boring. You will love them. Go for it, I say. BTW, Solestruck has the best price out there - and, no, they didn't give me anything to write that.

I really, really love these boots. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. The toe box is a bit narrow, or at least more narrow than my other pairs of boots, but I'm glad I didn't size up. I debated buying these for a long time. They are the most expensive shoes I own. But I am so happy with them...I've literally worn them every day since they arrived. That also indicates how comfortable they are.

Within a few hours of wearing this shoe outside in the mild weather (I'd been breaking it in indoors) the leopard spots began to fade off. I didn't rub them on anything or abuse them-- it's like the spots just disappeared in areas. Solestruck was super, super kind and sent me another pair (that I was planning to scotch guard in an effort to stifle the fading).. but when I received those I noticed one of them had funky seaming and excessive, bulging loose leather on the front of the boot (Weird on it's own, and the pair didn't even match). I can't speak for the other leather finishes, but the mini leopard is a true disappointment and in my case the craftsmanship isn't equal to the price :(

This is the type of shoe that makes every outfit look better! I'd say it runs pretty true to size. I'm usually a size 6 and it fit fine; albeit a tad narrow, but the leather seems like it should break in nicely. Pricey...but worth the half month's rent.

I'm glad I picked these up! I found them TTS and incredibly comfy, considering that they have a considerable heel. On the downside, I wasn't all that keen on the leather... it was a little lighter than I had imagined, but I think it will develop a nice patina with age.

The quality of this shoe exceeded my expectations. The first day out of the box I wore them walking around San Francisco's steep streets; no problem. A must in every city girls' closet if you are looking for a heel that you plan to put some miles on. The fit is narrow and snug but I preferred this; my foot is narrow. The opening/shaft is about 10+ inches. My thoughts are if the fit of the boot was not narrow, you would slip right out. Do buy your size for a perfect fit.

I love these boots! I wear a size 5 and was very pleased to see that my size was available! I was a bit unhappy about paying the "surprise" duty fees, none the less it was worth it! I definitely recommend these boots as a STAPLE piece for any collection! I love wearing them with my silk tunics!!!

I hadn't been waiting for this shoe to come out, but when I did finally see more pictures of it I realized it would be a perfect fall to winter (in CA) bootie for me.. and I love booties! I go my usual boot size (a half size up from my foot size) and yes, it is definitely narrow. I have medium width feet but a high instep and they began quite tight through that area-- but with plenty of room in the toe region because they ARE true to length. I've been wearing them around the house to make sure they're going to loosen up, and I think it's happening :) I wish the wood heel was black, but the excellent leather and leopard makes up for it. I didn't know if I loved them until my boyfriend said they looked rockabilly and were "the best shoes you've gotten recently" Nice!

I was looking for these for MONTHS - thank you to whoever sent their 8.5s back! I wouldn't call the fit terribly narrow - it's no worse than I've experienced with other shoes, but they'll need a few wears. The leather is WONDERFUL, so I know they'll break in well. The height is perfect, the color is versatile (got the Nougat) and I don't think my feet will be separated from these for any extended periods of time. They are absolutely perfect.

Apparently according to some of these reviews, these boots have a really narrow fit, but i don't have narrow feet and i don't find these to fit narrow at all, but just normal! The leather on these is seriously amazing: so soft and suple and you can just tell it's going to age well too. The boots are uber-comfy, wore them out all day walking the first time i wore them. Also important to note: got tons of compliments from randoms in the street! They're just the perfect casual boots that go with everything. Rachel Comey has a cult following with her footwear and now i can definitely attest to it first hand. These are not the last Rachel Comey shoes i buy!

Gorgeous, perfect boots!!! Totally adore, and love the nougat colour. I'd say fits true to size, not really smallish, as I was hoping. Mine were a fraction big, and sadly i had to return them. At least the Solestruck team were really helpful and nice about it! Worth the money!

loved this shoe, and yes, it was harder to find. tobi had it on sale for $224, but it sold out in two seconds flat. her high boots are easier to get. her low boots sell out really quickly, even on ebay, where they keep popping up and getting scooped away. i love your website and also gimme shoes, as you both carry such interesting makes. two wishes: carry more common projects boots and add humanoid boots to your inventory. both of those are really really hard to come by, and sell out immediately. also, why do you have to use fed ex delivery. it is really hard to "be home" waiting to sign for a package. at least give customer a choice. i will definitely buy from your site again. do you ever send email notices of coupons? if so, count me in. i find a coupon really gets my click buy juices going! - terri

I second Julie's comment. Although my feet are of average width, and most shoes fit just fine, these were VERY narrow. Back they go!

These are tough to find so I recommend getting them while you can. You won't regret it. Amazing leather. Fits narrow so wide feet beware.
