These shoes have a gorgeous and elegant retro-chic quality. I was impressed with the quality of this shoe: the details are wonderfully executed and the soft suede is lined in micro-suede with a leather insole. I've always found that there is a high tendency for sandals to have hard edges that cut into my feet, but these sandals are like wearing a glove! They do run 1/2 a size small, so order up (I've noticed this about many of Seychelles styles). I normally wear a 5.5 but I ordered a 6 and they fit perfectly
