Shakuhachi took their gypsy and lace-tinged designs and added a tough combat boot in to the mix for contrast. Distressed gold metal toe means their bohemian background has not been left behind. Hard and sexy with still a girly vibe, these boots are best paired with vintage floral prints, swingy fringe, and a beatnik bowler cap. 1" heel. Leather upper, lining and sole. Fits true to size. Size US8 insole measures at 9 5/8" inches or 24.5cm. Each half size is 1/4 inch or 1/2cm difference.

Gold Toe Lace-up boot

I realize these are now out of stock - but I'll write a review just incase they make a reappearance. Overall, I'm enjoying these - they are comfortable and the gold cap does not pinch the toes in way. However, they seem to run a half size large. My only other complaint is that I could have done without the "distressed" aspect to the metal - for almost 400 dollars I want pristine, new looking brass, not this current craze of vintage, hipsterized everything. It's ok for edgy clothing to look new and sharp- not everything has to have an air of "distress" to it. Luckily the splotchy parts on the gold are not too visible from afar,
