I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome service and great shoes!! I ordered Vans, Gisele to go with my Bella Swan Birthday Dress. You were all out of black, but I bought the Yellow Biscotti and painted them black! The look pretty good and for under 30 bucks, it works for me! I just figured I send you this tip in case anyone else was looking for these shoes in black and wasn't willing to pay $200.00 on ebay! I usually shop with Zappos, but I'm happy I tried you out!! Here's more on how to do this: I used masking tape to protect the Vans lable and I used a back sharpie to cover the yellow stripe. People that are not used to painting might want to masking tape off anything they don't want to get painted. I'm a seasoned painter, so I just did it free hand. Also, for the first coat water down the acrylic paint and then leave it a little thicker for the second coat. I used a flat edged brush to achieve straight lines.
